OPPORTUNITY

Blaze the trail toward your dream career with support from The Jessi Combs Foundation (JCF).

This program is designed to remove a portion of the financial burden associated with higher education, one of many barriers that could prohibit women from pursuing a career in the trades. 

What makes our scholarship program stand out is the community we are building along the way. JCF can leverage an extensive network of industry contacts, sponsors and ‘Friends of the Foundation’ to assist with introductions designed to kick-start career opportunities in the trades industry.

Being awarded a scholarship in Jessi’s name is not the end of the process, it’s the beginning of a lifelong connection to The JCF Family.  Our family is a growing community comprised of past scholarship recipients (aka "Jessi's Girls") the JCF founders and leadership team and other likeminded women inspired by Jessi and everything she stood for.  We strive to create an environment where our family of scholarship recipients feel like they part of something special, because they are.  In the JCF community, these women have a network of support and encouragement they can rely on while they change the world.

APPLICATION PROCESS AND TIMELINE

Our program runs on an annual basis.  We have announced this year's recipients and our application submission window is currently closed.  We expect to re-open the application window in Spring/Summer 2025.  At that time we will also provide the application process details.  Stay tuned here on our website and on our social channels for the announcement of our 2025 scholarship application window!

Q: How do I know if I am eligible for the JCF Scholarship Program?

A: At the time of submission applicants must identify as:

• A woman
• A high school senior, graduate or GED equivalent
• Enrolled in or accepted to an accredited vocational school in the United States with a focus on industrial or construction trade related skills. This could include (but not limited to): technical school, 2-year college or other approved vocational institutes and certifications.
